Danny Chanoch was born in Kaunas on the 2.2.1932.The family lived in Rotušes 13. As they were deported to the ghetto,Danny was 8 years old. At the  "Kinder Aktia" danny was well hidden by his brother URI. The fwomen were then deported to Stutthof. DAnny and his father and brother were sent to KAufering. Together with 130 other children from Kaunas,Danny was deported to Auschwitz Birkenau. only 23 children from that transport - survived.  As the Soviets approached he was taken to Mathausen then to Gunskirchen.  Danny went after the war in 1946 to Israel where he established a family and began anew.
